Voicemale - The Martino Lounge comes up trumps🍻🍷🎶

What a wonderfully convivial evening Voicemale Warblers had last night together with our friends and loved ones. The Martino lounge came up trumps (no not that one 😠!!) with a lovely atmosphere, a good and varied menu ranging from burgers to bang bang chicken to banoffee pie - and martinis🍸 , moretti 🍺and margueritas🍹 on tap🚰.

It was lovely to see in excess of 40 of us enjoying each others company in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. The Martino lounge did us proud with good service and good food all at good value - well done Jonnie and his staff.

There was the obligatory (short!) speech to bring us all up to date with what’s happening and one from Jon saying it was only a matter of time before we were picked up by a massive record label and were able to spend the rest of our lives whiling away our time drinking cocktails🍹 on a tropical 🏝️ island.

Judging by the hullabaloo there was no lack of conversation but finally we got down to the serious matter of clearing the restaurant by singing a few songs - Jon led the way with John Ball before Graham had us all organised doing bah doo bahs and shib a doo wahs to Dream dream dream….all great fun.

It was so nice to welcome a lot of new faces to the do - we hope everyone could feel and enjoy the camaraderie that we’ve managed to engender in the group. In particular it was especially lovely to welcome Anthea back to the fold.

So in conclusion I want to say well done and huge thanks to Alan for his seamless organisation of a lovely evening. I’d also like to thank everyone involved with VoiceMale for their positivity and enthusiasm towards VoiceMale - it really does make for a fantastically enjoyable atmosphere - and gives us all a welcome weekly boost to our dopamine levels🤪.

We can look forward to a fabulous year ahead of us celebrating our 25th anniversary!!
