Well, with the freezing temperatures I confess that I assumed we would be more than a few guys short last night - on the contrary, we had a massive turnout of 28 - must be a record in post (and possibly pre) Covid times. Well done lads - it was good to be back!!!

Lovely to see you all and in particular it was great to see Alex, Steve and Keith returning to the fold - they couldn’t stay away any longer!! Welcome back lads.

But by heck it was cold 🥶 in the hall last night. Rarely was the phrase “never cast a clout till May is out” more appropriate. We really needed Jons pre, during and post match warm up 🏃‍♀️ 🏃🏋🏼🤸🏽‍♀️we all sat there shivering in four or more layers of clothing dreaming of the warmth we would be getting later from Margo’s single bar electric fire 🔥….I'm sure the hall will be warmer next week 🤞🤞🤞. Alan was looking happy…….
