Hey man or Aa man - that is the question???

An interesting night last night - quite relaxed really after the cramming sessions of the past few weeks (reminded me of my A levels 50 years ago - I didn’t do very well there either 😂😒😂!!).

But some of us were still basking in the glory of the Cathedral gig - lots of compliments from various people at the time (not forgetting our latest fan, the lovely Barbara from Maidenhead!!) - but we all know we can still do even better 🎶🎵🥳.

So it’s onwards and upwards to our gig at the Morpeth Gathering in a few practices time - it’ll be nice to be able to up the tempo a bit from our Cathedral repertoire and let our hair down a bit (none of the obvious follically challenged comments here please 🙏!!! ) - I already sense a few dum doo wop doo dum 🎵🎶🤞crowd pleasers coming our way!!! Plenty of chat last night about “hey man” or “aa man” - not sure how that was resolved in the end. But Alan went on to tell us about the proposed trip to Jormanny 🇩🇪 next year - did we prefer spring, summer or Oktoberfest 🍻 time - the preference seemed to be late April/early May time and Alan will go back to his chums in Burgdorf and check this out - at the end of the day it’s really their decision!!!

Sadly the Harbottle show 🐑 I mentioned last night is a non starter this year as neither of our favourite conductors is available - we’ll just have to satisfy ourselves with Baafest on Sunday 7th September and Folkoff in Alnwick the week before - and at least it means our voices will be well rested and our tweeting will stay as fresh as larks 🎵🎶🐦 🐦😃.

Your 25 anniversary celeb team are continuing to concoct events for your delectation and enjoyment - watch out for further announcements from Paul W and his fellow conspirators in due course!!
